Tutima International Guarantee

All Tutima watches are made, adjusted and carefully tested by highly trained watchmakers at our own German workshops in keeping with our long-standing, traditional Tutima principles. Each TUTIMA is given its own production serial number, which is carefully recorded to enable reliable identification. Tutima USA, Inc encourages every owner to register their watch (register your Tutima watch here) upon purchase to further facilitate and expedite the service experience.

The materials and workmanship of your TUTIMA watch is covered by a two-year international guarantee as from the date of purchase. Faults and damages resulting from neglect or improper use are not covered by the guarantee. This guarantee does not affect the special statutory rights of the consumer.

The guarantee is valid ONLY if the guarantee certificate is completed by an authorized Tutima dealer. In case of claim under guarantee, please contact your Tutima dealer or one of the Tutima service agents listed below.

3 Levels of Service

  • MINOR: repairs to a crown, pusher, or other small corrections
  • MAINTENANCE: timing regulations, and other moderate movement repairs
  • COMPLETE SERVICE: disassembling the movement, complete cleaning, checking and lubricating all internal parts, changing gaskets and any necessary timing adjustments; the Complete Service also comes with a one-year guarantee from the date of job completion.

Turn Around Time

Normal turn-around time for repairs submitted directly to Tutima USA, Inc. is 4 to 6 weeks. Whenever possible, we will strive to complete the job in as little time as possible while still maintaining the utmost care in making sure the job is done right. It is our goal to provide you with the very best service experience. Based on availability, loaner watches can be requested for customers sending their watch for a Complete Service. Please check with your service manager for details.

Testing and Quality Control

Every watch is tested thoroughly by our technicians before leaving our facility. Tutima USA, Inc performs four separate tests to every watch upon completion; water-resistance, timing, power reserve and self-winding system. Copies of these tests results are returned with every watch.

Sending your watch in for service

Please ensure that you watch is well protected, packaged and insured to the full replacement value when mailing to an authorized dealer or authorized service center. We further encourage you to request a signature upon delivery since we cannot be held liable for packages that are lost or stolen before arrival. Inside the package you must include your full contact information (name, address, phone, email) description of the problem that you are experiencing with your watch and or any particular service that you request. All watches sent in for guarantee work must also include a copy of the guarantee certificate and proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Upon receipt of your Tutima watch a service associate will contact you and a free estimate will be provided.
